You are bilingual in French and English

We are looking for aRoom Service Head Waiter/Head Waitress (Chef de Rang) to join our Room Service team.
Position available on a permanent contract (CDI)
39 hours/week Morning shift 6:00 am to 2:20 pm // Evening shift 3:40 pm to 11:00 pm // Day shift 8:00 am to 4:20 pm
Customer Relations
Ensure customer satisfaction
Offer a warm personalized welcome to guests
Provide attentive service tailored to each guests needs
Listen carefully to guest feedback and follow up as needed
Build strong relationships with guests advise them and encourage loyalty
Highlight and promote the restaurants offerings.
Technical Skills / Service Delivery
Actively participate in service (morning day or evening shifts)
Organize and oversee the work of commis waiters apprentices and interns
Master the menu and product offerings
Ensure and verify:
The setup of the service area and back of house
The cleaning and tidying of the service area and back of house after service.
Obtain updated information before each service regarding dish compositions and any menu changes
Adapt work organization pace and guest interaction depending on service volume and clientele type
Ensure proper care and maintenance of equipment provided.
Sales / Commercial
Proactively suggest and advise guests on the available services
Pay close attention to and respect guest requests
Help to grow revenue in your department
Contribute to guest loyalty through the quality of service provided.
Management
Actively work toward achieving departmental goals by:
Following hotel procedures and internal controls
Increasing sales.
Follow billing and payment procedures
Help to manage dishware and small equipment carefully avoiding breakage
Participate in inventory counts.
Hygiene / Health and Safety / Environment
Maintain a clean work environment and ensure food safety by strictly following daily HACCP hygiene standards
Comply with all equipment usage and safety instructions.
