Job Description:
24/7 ProTAS a leading healthcare recruiter seeks an experienced and dedicated Urgent Care Physician to join our team in Bossier City Louisiana. As an Urgent Care Physician you will provide highquality medical care to patients with urgent and nonemergency medical needs. This is a fulltime permanent position with top pay and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and treat patients with urgent and nonemergency medical needs
Perform minor procedures such as suturing splinting and wound care
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as Xrays and lab work
Prescribe medications and provide followup care as needed
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics
Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
Adhere to all legal and ethical standards in patient care
Participate in oncall rotation as needed
Qualifications:
Medical degree from an accredited medical school
Board certification in Family Medicine Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine
Current and unrestricted medical license in Louisiana
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and make quick decisions
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
