Job Description

My client a top US investment bank is seeking an experienced Java Engineer to join them in the Hong Kong office and support their cross asset trading systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop enhance and maintain software solutions within a complex architecture spanning multiple platforms.
  • Utilize Core Java and objectoriented programming principles to deliver highquality code.
  • Work on SpringBoot and SpringCloud applications with a preference for experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Demonstrate strong database skills particularly with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and architecture of software systems.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 2 years of handson experience in software development.
  • Proficiency in Core Java and a deep understanding of objectoriented programming concepts.
  • Strong skills in Spring Boot with a preference for experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Solid database skills with familiarity in working with DB2 and PostgreSQL.
  • Previous experience in a financial or investment bank environment is preferred.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to learning and development.
