The Team: The Revenue Enablement team within Customer Experience (CX) fosters collaboration to enhance customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth. By prioritizing creative thinking and datadriven insights the team shapes packaging and pricing strategies based on customer interactions. Their strong emphasis on crossfunctional collaboration ensures effective communication across departments optimizing the customer journey and maximizing revenue opportunities.

The Role:We are seeking a strategic and resultsdriven Director of Customer Insights and Packaging to lead our efforts in understanding customer needs and optimizing packaging strategies across Market Intelligence. This role will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and enhancing customer satisfaction through datadriven insights and innovative packaging models. Additionally the Director will ensure alignment in product representation and packaging strategies facilitating effective communication across business lines.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Insights Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for gathering analyzing and utilizing customer insights to inform pricing and packaging decisions.

  • Collaborate with the Customer Experience Team to integrate customer feedback and sentiment analysis into pricing and packaging strategies.

  • Leverage AI and analytics tools to identify trends in customer behavior and preferences that impact pricing and packaging decisions.

Holistic Packaging & Pricing Strategy:

  • Lead the development of a cohesive packaging strategy that aligns business objectives and customer segments.

  • Leverage competitive analysis and market research to inform solution selling and identify opportunities for differentiation.

  • Work closely with product management and marketing teams to ensure packaging aligns with product value propositions and market positioning.

  • Collaborate with the Pricing team to manage the process related to product packaging and allocations ensuring that product codes are effectively set up in sales and finance systems.

  • Enable Revenue teams with account planning support related to holistic customer renewal pricing and with upsell package opportunities and provide complex deal strategy guidance.

CrossFunctional Collaboration:

  • Partner with various business lines to ensure alignment on packaging strategies and customer insights.

  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to gather input and drive consensus on packaging initiatives.

  • Coordinate with Revenue Operations and Customer Care to ensure pricing and packaging strategies are effectively communicated and implemented.

  • Participate in crossfunctional meetings to represent the Customer Insights and Pricing functions contributing to strategic discussions regarding product management and packaging.

Performance Measurement:

  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of divisional pricing strategies and customer insights initiatives.

  • Regularly report on divisional pricing performance customer satisfaction metrics and revenue impacts to senior leadership.

  • Analyze the impact of product code decisions on reporting and business outcomes providing recommendations for improvement.

Compensation/Benefits Information (US Applicants Only):

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $124000 to $190000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location.

In addition to base compensation this role is eligible for additional compensation such as a semiannual incentive bonus plan.

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing Economics or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 7 years of experience in pricing customer insights market analysis or business development preferably within a B2B environment.

  • Proven track record of leading crossfunctional initiatives and driving revenue growth through generating customer insights and creating successful packaging strategies.

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and techniques.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
