Courier - Part-time

Drive a company vehicle to deliver or pick up client samples and packages within a specified area. Directly reports to Client Service Supervisor Client Ambassador or Director of Operations.

JOB FUNCTIONS

• Operate on a routed schedule for pick up and/or delivery of materials within established timeframes
• Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures
• Load and unload trucks vans or automobiles
• Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles
• Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment such as gas oil water tires lights and brakes to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition.
• Maintain records such as vehicle logs records of cargo or billing statements in accordance with company regulations
• Use of automatic routing or location software such as a GPS provided by the company.
• Ensure that compliance to ISO 17025 standards is maintained
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications :

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or GED Required
• Valid Drivers License Required
• Clean driving record Required

KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS / ABILITIES

• Is punctual reliable and exercises good judgment
• Ability to interact with clients as a responsible representative of the company

ADDITIONAL KSAS

• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast paced highly professional environment.

VISION REQUIREMENT 

• Close Vision (clear vision at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less) Required
• Distance Vision (clear vision at 20 feet/6 meters or more) Required
• Peripheral Vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given post) Required
• Depth Perception (threedimensional vision ability to judge distance and threedimensional relationship) Required
• Ability to adjust focus (ability to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus) Required
• Ability to see color Required
