The role
We have an exciting new role for a Category Lead Facilities Management to join our team. This role will play a key part in achieving our overarching procurement strategy. Helping the Crown Group achieve the best commercial outcomes for the business. You will be responsible for
- Driving strategic sourcing events with the key focus on optimising cost quality delivery & technology standards to the business.
- Overseeing the daytoday sourcing of new services and special sourcing to ensure they are in alignment with the overall category strategy.
- Visiting business units regularly to gain a better understanding of product and service offering needs and take action on issues presented providing strategic procurement advice to maximise commercial outcomes.
- Providing leadership and innovation from a sourcing perspective towards environmental management and sustainability programs.
- Reviewing supplier offerings for innovative products to reduce costs.
About You
This role is ideal for a facility management procurement professional to join a dynamic environment. Ideally you would have exposure to a similar environment to help navigate the challenges of an integrated resort. You will bring a high degree of enthusiasm to help deliver on the procurement strategy;
- Degree in a Business/ Commerce / Facility Management discipline highly regarded.
- Experience in Contract Preparation and Sourcing & Tendering.
- Highly skilled in influencing and negotiation both internally and externally.
- Welldeveloped communication and presentations skills able to influence at all levels internally and externally.
- A track record in identifying and delivering sustained cost reduction opportunities. Qualifications
