Job Description
- Briefing Principal Contractor and their contractor on OHS requirements and safety considerations
- Overall supervision and responsibility for OH&S
- Acting as a link between Client Principal Contractor and project team members for Health & Safety
- Maintaining good H&S practices throughout project duration
- Facilitating preparation implementation and maintenance of health & safety plan
- Ensuring appropriate means for Health & Safety incident/accident reporting & investigations
- Conducting monthly audits
- Ensuring adherence to Site Rules restrictions and Covid19 regulations
- Facilitating appointment of Health & Safety Representatives and outlining their duties
- Facilitating Training & Awareness programmes on safety issues
- Conducting Training & Induction including Site Specific Induction Training
Requirements
- B Degree (NQF 7 in Safety or related qualifications/National diploma (NQF 6 in Safety or related
- 7 or more years of experience
