Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Develop/manage Civil Engineering team
- Restructure department to operate effectively in various markets
- Oversee project design
- Coordinate multidiscipline project tasks for site development projects
- Develop site layout/design (site grading/storm drainage roadway water/sewer infrastructure erosion and sediment control)
- Ensure high quality projects are completed on time and on budget
- Perform project administration duties
- Coordinate project with other departments
- Establish financial performance goals
- Develop annual business plan to assist in the firm s growth
- Build/maintain client relationships
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 12 years of leadership project management and client management experience
- Extensive design experience with a focus on site development projects
- Thorough understanding of entitlement processes
- PE License
- Be established in area with existing relationships in the municipal and private sector
- Manage multiple priorities
- Understanding of municipal engineering principles/practices
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Autoturn hydrology & hydraulics software packages and MS Office Suite
- Current involvement in professional networking organizations
- Strong skills as a presenter
