The Boviteq Alliance a division of Semex is a global leader in bovine genetic solutions. Our Research and Innovation (R&I) department is dedicated to pushing the technological frontiers in bovine embryo production particularly through in vitro fertilization (IVF) embryo biopsy and cryopreservation as well as genomic applications.

INTERNSHIP MISSION
As part of our engineering team you will actively participate in projects to automate bovine embryo production processes. You will collaborate closely with our specialized engineer to design develop and optimize innovative technological solutions that transform our working methods. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
3D Design and Modeling: Create specialized component and part designs using Fusion 360 software to meet the specific needs of our automation projects.
Rapid Prototyping: Use 3D printing technologies to bring your designs to life and participate in the iterative improvement of prototypes.
Assembly and Integration: Assemble systems combining mechanical and electronic components for our specialized equipment.
Continuous Innovation: Participate in team meetings to identify automation opportunities and propose creative solutions to technical challenges.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Our modern laboratories coexist with our farm home to highquality cattle. During your 37hour week you will work primarily in this unique environment combining cuttingedge technologies and life sciences.
Our site nestled in a wooded setting and accessible by a network of bike paths offers a perfect balance between stimulating work and a pleasant living environment. REQUIRED PROFILE
Education and Technical Skills:
Student in robotics mechanical electrical engineering or any other relevant program
Proficiency in at least one CAD software (Fusion 360 preferred)
Practical experience in 3D printing (configuration use postprocessing)
Knowledge of prototyping platforms (Arduino Raspberry Pi) highly preferred
Functional bilingualism (French/English)
