Job title: Commercial Account Handler
Salary: 35000

PURPOSE OF ROLE
Due to continued growth and success our clients broking team is looking to add a Commercial Account Handler to help ensure their clients continue to receive outstanding service and access to the most suitable insurance solutions This role is designed to support clients with daytoday insurance needs while also assisting Account Executives with renewal prep and new business quotations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle client queries relating to policy documentation and renewals
- Support Account Executives in preparing for renewals and quoting for new business
- Deliver excellent service to clients managing relationships and ensuring their insurance needs are fully met
- Liaise with underwriters and negotiate terms to secure competitive and appropriate coverage
- Work closely with broking and support teams to ensure accuracy and compliance across all documentation and processes
- Proactively develop a pipeline of referral business from existing clients
- Monitor and work towards meeting team targets for retention and income
- Collaborate with regional management and contribute to the development and mentoring of team members
DAYTODAY
- Responding to client requests and managing daytoday policy administration
- Preparing renewal documents and supporting new business activity
- Attending internal meetings to discuss pipeline and client strategy
- Coordinating with Account Executives and underwriters for tailored client solutions
- Tracking and reporting on retention rates and supporting team objectives
- Working compliantly and efficiently across all accounts and documentation
EXPERIENCE
- A strong foundation in commercial insurance ideally with handson experience in a broking environment
- Exposure to handling a variety of commercial products and dealing directly with clients
- Previous experience with Acturis or a similar broking platform is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and handle policies from start to finish
SKILLS
- Excellent communication skillsboth written and verbalwith confidence in dealing with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities
- High attention to detail and organisational capability
- A proactive serviceled approach to client needs
- Comfortable using Microsoft Word Excel and insurance software system
- Willingness to learn and progressfull funding and support for professional qualifications will be provided
