Job Description
The Conrad New York Downtownis looking for a seasonal Bartender to join our food and beverage team at Leonessa.
Located in Downtown Manhattan our 463 allsuite luxury hotel is less than 10 minutes from the citys most iconic attractions including One World Trade Observatory Tribeca Greenwich Village SoHo and Wall Street. Experience panoramic views of the Hudson River and the Statue of Liberty from Leonessa our Italian rooftop bar. Business travelers can meet in our 30000 square feet of event space spanning two floors.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role at a property of a similar size and full availability including nights weekends and holidays and the ability to obtain additional jobrelated certifications as requested.
Shift Pattern: This is a seasonal role. Full availability needed including nights weekends and holidays
Pay Rate: $30.65 $40.87 / hour

What will I be doing
As a Bartender you would be responsible for preparing beverages and serving beverages and/or food to guests.
Specifically you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely friendly and efficient manner.
- Mix and garnish beverages according to recipe and portion control standards.
- Present and serve beverages to guests.
- Check guests for proper identification and serve alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with federal state local and company laws and regulations.
- Accurately total process and collect payments from guests to include but not limited to using the pointofsale system handling money processing credit and debit cards making change and processing gift certificates cards and vouchers.
- Stock and maintain the bar to include but not limited to beer wine spirits paper products straws and stirrers condiments glassware ice and produce.
- Cut store and ensure product quality of all beveragerelated perishables.
- Respond professionally to inebriated guests as needed.
