Job Description
A dynamic midsized multispecialty law firm headquartered in Virginia is seeking a Corporate Associate to join itsMergers & Acquisitions and Corporate Business Services groups in their Richmond office.
The firms M&A practice represents private equity firms and other private companies in a broad range of capital transactions throughout the United States and internationally. This role offers the opportunity to work on highlevel corporate matters with direct client interaction and significant responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
Advise clients on complex M&A and corporate transactions
Provide ongoing corporate counsel to privately held businesses
Lead negotiations and manage all stages of deal
Work closely with colleagues across practice groups on national and crossborder matters
Qualifications:
35 years of solid transactional experience including M&A and general corporate work
Demonstrated experience with privately held companies
Strong academic background and excellent analytical skills
Collaborative attitude and proactive approach to problemsolving
Large regional or national law firm experience preferred
Finance and private equity background is a plus
Must be licensed or eligible to practice law in Virginia
