About the Role

As a Product Manager you will navigate complex stakeholder relationships comply with regulations and laws and work in a transparent and accountable environment. You will be concerned with the products longterm success and viability and will work closely with crossfunctional teams to ensure the product meets both customer needs and business goals. You will also have to be creative and resourceful in finding ways to modernise and innovate legacy systems.

The role sits within the Product Delivery Directorate which is responsible for designing developing and delivering highquality products that meet customer needs.

The Successful Candidate

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelors degree in a relevant field and have at least three years of relevant Product Management experience. They will have the ability to create product roadmaps define product vision and align product strategy with business goals and customer needs. They will be adept at prioritising tasks and features based on value and impact and managing the product backlog effectively. A demonstrated understanding of the technical aspects of product development including software development software architecture and infrastructure is essential.

Professional certification in Product Management or aligned roles such as Certified Product Manager (CPM) by AIPMM Product Manager Certification (PMC) by Product School or Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) is highly desirable. Proficiency in working with a range of Product Management tools (e.g. Jira Confluence or similar for product planning and collaboration) and familiarity with government processes policies and regulatory requirements will be advantageous.
