Our Instructors work to change the world one life at a time by helping students reach their dreams through education. The Medina County Career Center (MCCC) is looking for a skilled English Instructor ready to share their expertise and knowledge with the next teachers are responsible for the daytoday work and management of the class and the safety and welfare of the students during onsite and offsite activities. They are responsible for planning organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential. Teachers agree with and are committed to the academic goals and philosophy of the MCCC. They understand abide by and implement the policies directives and guidelines set forth by the MCCC.
STARTING DATE: August 2025
SALARY: Appropriate placement on the Teachers Salary Schedule commensurate with experience and education
REPORTS TO: Principal or Designee

WORKWEEK/YEAR: 184 days as per the Board adopted calendar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Valid Ohio teaching license English; Effective written and oral communication skills; Ability to build rapport with many stakeholders; Strong organizational skills.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Masters Degree in the content area (English); Experience working in a careertechnical center; Strong technology skills; proven ability to integrate technology into instructional methodology; Solid foundational knowledge of special education.
