Bring the LEGO stories and experiences to life in France Spain and Portugal as our new Senior Brand Manager for this fixedterm contract!

Join the FrenchIberian marketing team bringing your functional experience leadership capabilities and energy with a collaborative approach to lead and develop the team to success for the LEGO brand inmarket.

Core Responsibilities

Brand Marketing Management

  • Build lead support and mentor selforganising teams to develop gotomarket strategy delivering local marketing communication and plans for their respective audiences (consumers & shoppers).
  • Manage and develop a team of brand marketing managers and associates helping them to deliver best in class marketing plans
  • Drive the marketing innovation agenda including impactful digital experiential performance and datadriven marketing with a testandlearn approach.
  • Drive efficiency effectiveness and impact in the of local marketing plans delivering results collaborating with sales operations demand planning partners and agencies.
  • Collaborate across the marketing team to coshape regional gotomarket to launch plans and toolboxes through ongoing exchange insight sharing and afteraction reviews.
  • Develop strong internal relationships with regional teams in order to champion global strategy and share/adopt successes.
  • Develop and bring to bear the LEGO Ecosystem an OESP (owned earned shared and paid) approach selecting partnerships to augment local impact as well as develop and implement integrated joint business plans.
  • Full accountability 360 marketing campaigns investment and performance for your audiences brands tentpoles and launches
  • Lead on transversal projects within the marketing community and/or with crossfunctional teams
  • Being a role model within the Brand Marketing community

Business Leadership

  • Responsibility for budget management of a marketing budget
  • Own the LEGO market share performance as well as the shortterm 17week) planning assumptions.
  • Report performance at the weekly dedicated meeting through insights and taking corrective actions
  • Collaborate with internal partners to drive critical topics.
  • Coordinate crossfunctional teams to implement agreed marketing objectives.
  • Full profit and loss coordination controlling the budget across audiences brands tentpoles and launches.
  • Represent business performance at both weekly and monthly meetings providing insights and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure that the team is focused on delivering the business strategy and Marketing objectives by conducting regular reviews of priorities and Marketing Team targets.
  • Beyond scope lead on transversal projects within the marketing community and/or with crossfunctional teams.
  • Role model within the Business Unit.

The Brand Marketing team provides insights and collaborates with regional and global teams that develop campaigns and products! These products and stories are then created and implemented in our markets by agile audience teams. Working with sales and operations teams as well as agency partners (media event PR influencer etc. license partners media (including social and influencer) the LEGO ecosystem (LEGO Retail LEGOLAND Merlin etc. and brand partners is key to our success.

Do you have what it takes

  • Indepth experience as a Brand Marketing and/or Sales professional ideally from one or more FMCG companies. Proven record of driving brand love brand growth and brand health.
  • A strong understanding of the digital world understanding all major media channels (including social)
  • A demonstratable ability to lead and develop an incountry marketing team
  • Proven experience of operating and developing broad networks with internal and external partners and effective collaboration.
  • Selfmotivated and highly committed to results with a fun cando mentality and the ability to convince others.
  • Strong communication conceptual thinking and persuasion skills with ability to translate insights into concepts into action.
  • Proficiency in French and English language is essential.
