The Lead School Nurse provides leadership and support in establishing and maintaining a comprehensive health program for the assessment evaluation and improvement of the health of students. The Lead School Nurse will be responsible for the following: Direction and implementation of immunization and student screening regulations Participate in district crisis or emergency protocols including in the development of protocols Adherence to all aspects of Student Records regulations as outlined in 603 CMR 23.00 Collaboration with community health partners including Department of Public Health as necessary Maintain records in compliance with MA regulations and best practices Facilitate regular meetings with all school nurses Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services or other districtlevel administratorsReports to the Assistant Superintendent of Student ServicesStipended position in accordance with Unit A Teachers Contract Appendix F2Ability to collaborate with teachers administrators and other district leadersAbility to effectively provide feedback and engage in consultation that builds capacityMay require after contractual hours responsibilitiesSupport the district and department in efforts towards improving diversity equity and inclusion
