We are seeking a highly motivated and resultsoriented Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this critical role you will be responsible for overseeing the daytoday operations of our insurance department ensuring efficient and accurate processing of policies. You will lead a team of insurance professionals drive process improvements and contribute to the overall success of the company. Whilst role will be predominantly based in Ipswich however regular trips to the London office will be required.

What will your essential responsibilities include
Provide support and guidance on professional development career growth and decisionmaking.
Delegate tasks and projects that align with the teams skills and interests
Have ultimate responsibility for all of the team supporting the London Wholesale Prop & Casualty and A&H lines of business.
Set the goals and be accountable for the overall success of the team
Conduct performance reviews provide feedback and address employee concerns.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Oversee all aspects of Operations for the lines of business across all platforms and systems.
Work with the Operational Processes Manager on developing and implementing operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Continuously identify process improvements to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for improvement.
Analyse data to identify trends and make datadriven decisions.
Leverage technology and automation to improve productivity and reduce costs
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by providing timely and effective customer service.
Build and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders but especially within Underwriting.
Provide management reporting when requested e.g for QRs
Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and industry standards.
Conduct regular audits and reviews on tasks performed to identify and mitigate risks.
Stay informed of industry trends and regulatory changes.
You will report into the Head of Middle Office UK.
