Job Title:
Journeyman ElectricianJob Description:
Entegris seeks a Facilities Electrician to manage and support electrical and life safety systems across multiple sites. The position will work closely with the Facilities team on new installs projects troubleshooting and repairs.The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of commercial and industrial buildings and the construction industry.
Responsible for:
New equipment installs
Enduser support and requirement efforts
Electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
Fire panel and fire systems support. Knowledge of Siemens FireFinder and Notifier is a plus
Managing special hazard fire protection systems
Managing contractors and project work
Managing parts and inventory
Installing and testing network data cabling
Labeling panel schedules and documentation updates as required.
Installing and troubleshooting VFDs
Strong knowledge of international electrical standards
Essential Duties:
Manage work through the CMMS work order system
Manage workload and priorities independently
Part of an oncall rotation. After hours an emergency response is required.
Manage the fire system central command calls for alarms troubles and supervisory signals
Requirements:
Massachusetts Journey License (or able to obtain within 6 months)
10 years of experience in industrial/commercial electrical
3 years of foreman or lead role
Ability to read construction drawings schematics and diagrams
Strong troubleshooting acumen. Ability to solve problems independently with limited supervision.
Strong knowledge of classified electrical standards and requirements.
Ability to independently review work create parts lists manage quotes coordinate impacts and fully execute jobs
Previous fire panel programming and troubleshooting
Strong working knowledge of codes and standards
Support:
HVAC and Mechanical Systems.
Elevators
AV equipment
Energy saving programs
Gas Detection and Interlocks
Transfer stations and pumps
Building automation and control systems
Sprinkler shutdowns
Process equipment troubleshooting
Working knowledge of PLCs I/O networking BACnet Modbus
Process equipment testing certification.
General:
Follows proper safety procedures and observes all safety rules and regulations including OSHA
Reports of building damages malfunctioning equipment needed maintenance and/or repairs in assigned work areas
Responds to emergency calls
Inputs data into the computerized work order system recording time and work order information
Participates in training to keep and acquire knowledge skills and abilities in order to remain current with standard operational practices and revised standards
Maintains appropriate certifications and licenses
Interacts professionally and follows up with members of the campus community
Position Requirements:
Must be physically able to perform all of the essential duties of the position as set forth in this Position Description including but not limited to the following:
Observe safety rules at all times
Read write understand and carry out oral and written instructions in English
Work on ladders and scaffolds and in bucket trucks pits and manholes
Utilize a variety of electricians and fire alarm technicians tools and instruments
Manually lift to 60 pounds (heavier material or equipment is lifted using other methods)
