Job Title: Production Quality Manager

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Production Quality Manager to join a growing Food processing business in Kilkeel Co. Down. This role has been created due to the expansion of the business and requires someone with a strong background in production management quality control and process optimization.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of production management quality control and inventory management to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of seafood products. The position will require strong leadership and the ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all production plans for multiple products ensuring smooth workflow and timely production.
- Oversee the assembly and manufacturing processes ensuring products meet required quality standards and are completed on time.
- Implement and uphold quality control procedures ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal requirements.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including technical and operations to enhance and streamline business processes.
- Lead and mentor production staff promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Analyze production data and make informed decisions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure that all HACCP documentation is regularly updated and compliant with food safety regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in food production management with a strong focus on quality control.
- Indepth understanding of production systems and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Expertise in continuous improvement methodologies and a keen eye for process optimization.
- Strong analytical skills and experience in using data to inform production decisions.
- Indepth knowledge of HACCP principles and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide production teams to achieve business goals.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments.
