Job Description
Penske Logistics is looking for warehouse associates to become part of an excellent team. This is a great opportunity for individuals who are safety conscious and have a pleasant outgoing attitude who want to excel in a warehouse environment.
Position Summary:
Under warehouse supervision a sanitation worker is responsible for maintaining a clean sanitary warehouse and office in a manner that is consistent with the companys standards of quality and safety and productivity.

Schedule: Monday Friday 5am 1:30pm (work is complete)

Associate Referral Program
- This is a climate controlled facility.
- Freezer: 0 10 F; Cooler: 42 48 F; Warehouse 70 to 80 F
Major Responsibilities:
Proficient in mopping sweeping scrubbing and vacuuming surfaces
Empties trash bins and cleans trash area daily; operates trash compactor when applicable
Pulls pallets and clean/scrubs product bays on a rotating basis
Clean up any spills or breakages to the inventoried product; recoup damages and determine if resalable or must be disposed of per food safety standards and requirements
Clean other areas of the warehouse and offices including break rooms restrooms offices etc.
Complete daily sanitation logs
Utilize chemicals detergents and cleaning equipment
Operate scrubber and pallet jacks if required to perform duties
Able to identify and address cleanliness and sanitation issues
Complies with all safety requirements
Escalate issues timely and directly to supervisor
Electronically scan products using a warehouse management system
Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
Qualifications
Qualifications:
No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
Ability to work independently customer service dealing with others multitasking skills organizational skills flexible excellent with numbers and time management skills required
Flexible to work overtime preferred
Ability to work in nonclimatecontrolled conditions required
Regular predictable full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to work the required schedule work at the specific location required
Complete a Penske employment application submit to a background investigation (to include past employment education and criminal history) and drug screening required.

The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch handle and feel and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
