Job Description

The Pennsbury School District is looking for support staff to fill the following positions in the Extended School Year (ESY) Program for the summer of 2025. Final staffing will be made based upon student enrollment. Seniority will be the determining factor in who is offered positions if interest outweighs the number of positions available.

Support Staff Positions

Registered Nurse(s)

Paraprofessional(s) II Specialized Support

Instructional Assistants

Transportation Aides

Paraprofessional applicants must be Highly Qualified as defined by federalstandards which requires either two completed years of study at an institution of higher education an associates (or higher) degree or PDE Highly Qualifiedcertification (Paraeducator Credential of Competency). CPR and First Aidcertifications are required.

ESY PROGRAM SCHEDULE

ESY Dates are 07/01/2025 07/31/2025 (Monday to Thursday)

**ESY Setup Dates (prepare documents prepare assignments and classroom): 06/26/2025 & 06/30/2025

**ESY Clean up Date: 08/04/2025

Location: Pennwood Middle School

  • Staff Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Student Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

RATES:

  • Classified Position: Based on your current step placement on the salary scale if the role is in your current job class.
