Job Description
MMUUSD is seeking flexible reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team as District Specialized Assistant Substitutes to substitute for our Behavior Interventionists throughout our District. This fulltime role 40 hours/week MondayFriday) is based on the school year calendar.
The District Specilialized Assistant Substitute will primarily support our alternative education program by providing coverage for behavior interventionists or working oneonone with students who require individualized support. Assignments may vary daytoday depending on student and staff needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct support to students including those with socialemotional and behavioral challenges
Implement and follow individualized support and behavior plans
Foster positive supportive relationships with students and staff
Adapt to changing needs and environments across different school settings
Qualifications:
Strong flexibility and adaptability
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience working with children especially those with behavioral or emotional needs is preferred
Dependability and a commitment to supporting student success
