Custodial Project Manager
ATI is seeking a highly motivated qualified and experienced Custodial Project Manager with a background in custodial and facility cleanup for a fulltime position at a government facility in Quantico Virginia. Responsibilities will include.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include but not be limited to the following:
Supervision of up to 5 staff in the daily cleaning of firearms training ranges classrooms restrooms and other training locations containing lead dust. Other duties may include:
- Direct the performance of custodial and cleaning duties as required by the contract and in strict accordance with regulations and standards.
- Oversee the use of personnel protective equipment (PPE) as required such as Tyvek respirators safety glasses gloves hearing protection safety shoes etc.
- Supervise the operation of various equipment not limited to vacuums drum dollies and scissor lifts.
- Plan work activities adhere to budgets and use funds within established limits to meet performance goals.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of services provided.
- Assist in the performance of custodial and cleaning duties as necessary to meet schedule requirements.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 3 years custodial and facility cleaning and three years of project manager
experience preferably in a hazardous environment requiring the use of PPE. - US citizenship is required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to secure a Government clearance in a timely manner requires a CLEAN background history.
- Currently obtains or the ability to obtain a TOP SECRET Clearance is a plus.
- Some computer proficiency required along with good English reading and writing skills.
- Safetyminded individual who understands the importance of following strict protocols.
- Hazardous waste operations training (HAZWOPER) and/or experience at a Government facility is a plus but not required.
Work Environment
The position requires work in atmospheres and locations with the potential for exposure to various chemical and physical agents some of which may be hazardous toxic or corrosive. Other hazards may also include:
- Noise from vacuums and nearby ranges.
- Ergonomic hazards such as lifting heavy items repetitive motions and contact with hard surfaces.
- Physical hazards such as contact with wet or icy walking surfaces.
- Heat and cold stress from working in unconditioned spaces.
- Working at heights when operating a scissor lift to clean ceilings and walls.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay Range: $72400 to $82800/year depending on applicable experience
Location: Quantico VA
Working Hours: Normal Work Hours 7:00 AM 3:30 PM Monday Friday (anticipate 40 per week).
