About the Opportunity:
Under the direction of the Education Manager the purpose of this role is to develop the knowledge attitudes and skills of Nursing Students whilst on Clinical Practice Placements. You will closely work with Tertiary Education Institutions to facilitate Nursing Students learning and progress within the clinical environment. It is a requirement that you will be available to work all shifts. This role will include leading and contributing to administrative duties for Clinical Facilitation in collaboration with other Clinical Facilitation colleagues clinical managers and Education Institution Representatives. You will act as a professional role model for students at St Vincents Private Hospitals Northside and Brisbane (as required) and will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships to enhance students learning experiences incorporating flexible learning and development approaches.

Things that work for us:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and knowledge across a range of specialties
Demonstrated educational abilities and use of best practice educational principles in relation to student management
Knowledge of the National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses and Australian Nurse Teacher Professional Practice Standards
A minimum of five 5 years experience as a registered nurse
Experience in Clinical Facilitation of students is highly desirable
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current or working towards same) and/ or
Postgraduate qualification in clinical teaching and/or education or equivalent is desirable
Remuneration:
The position of Clinical Facilitator in addition to our competitive salary packaging options is a Classification/Grade with a base remuneration of $54.37 $58.25 superannuation based on experience level and relevant qualifications exclusive of shift penalties or allowances.
