Job Description

UPMC Central PA Strawberry Square Family Practice is seeking a fulltime family medicine physician to join our growing primary care team and play an integral role in helping to provide highquality compassionate care to all patients in our community. UPMC Central Pa offers a variety of primary care practice sizes and locations while at the same time maintaining a reliable practice infrastructure. These setting choices include both urban and rural options available throughout our 10county service the Position:Provides direct primary care within the office settingMinimal Call Oncall coverage is mostly phone coverage shared equally with partners. Most sites utilize the Nurse Advice Line (triage team handling/filtering initial calls)Collaborates with and supervises Advanced Practice ProvidersEpic EMR online diagnostics including PACS imaging and laboratory resultsProfessional Skills:Board certified/Board eligible Team orientated with the ability to provide personalized patient care and demonstrate clinical outcomesCommitment to providing highquality and compassionate care to patients Eligible for licensure in the state of PennsylvaniaBenefits: Health life and disability insuranceMedical malpractice insuranceDefined contribution plan; 403(b) plan with employer matchProfessional dues and CME allowanceRelocation assistancePotential sign on bonus
