Works with the Athletic Department in conjunction with the sports teams and coaches to ensure the athletic fields are ready for play when scheduled. Helps the School District fulfill its mission of service to its students faculty and community and protects the capital investments made by the School District in its Public Facilities. The position requires the applicant to have an indepth knowledge of landscaping horticulture and sports turf management. It is necessary that the applicant possess the ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and to have the ability to properly prepare fields for all types of sporting :*High School Diploma or equivalent*Valid Massachusetts Drivers License*Successful completion of a criminal record check (CORI) and a national background check (fingerprinting).*Demonstrated interest working in a school environment*The position requires possession and maintain current Massachusetts hoisting licenses for the duration of employment.
