We are looking for an outstanding marketer to help connect Canadian businesses with Floats financial solutions from coast to coast. Marketing is a highimpact department at Float and as Event Marketing Manager youll be at the forefront of expanding our presence nationwide. Youll lead the strategy and of virtual inperson and hybrid events that boost brand awareness generate leads and deepen customer engagement. Collaborating closely with sales product and customer success teams youll create memorable event experiences that fuel pipeline growth and strengthen customer retention.
Event Strategy & Planning: Develop and implement an event marketing strategy that spans the entire customer journey from awareness through to pipeline generation including trade shows webinars conferences partner events and customer meetups.
EndtoEnd Event Ownership: From planning and promotion to and business impact of all events. Attend events both virtually and inperson coordinating setup teardown attendee logistics swag and everything inbetween to make the event successful. Develop manage and optimize event budgets.
Create Memorable Experiences: Help prospects and customers feel valued and deepen their positive sentiment about Float through creative innovative and memorable experiences.
Champion Floats Brand: Represent Float at key industry events building relationships and creating engaging experiences for partners customers and potential prospects.
FullFunnel Marketing Promotion & Nurturing: Develop and execute multichannel campaigns designed to drive attendance generate leads and nurture existing prospects through the sales funnel.
CrossFunctional Collaboration: Work closely with sales product and customer success teams to align event goals with company objectives ensuring event themes and content excite our target audiences. Integrate strategies and messages closely with the other Marketing initiatives.
DataDriven Optimization and Analysis: Analyze the success and impact of each event reviewing KPIs like attendance audience engagement leads pipeline influence and ROI. Use these insights to inform future strategies and decisions. Ensure a seamless transition from event to Float followup carrying the magic of the event into realized pipeline and customer expansion goals.
Youve got the experience. To be successful in this role were looking for 35 years of event marketing experience in a B2B environment ideally with a bachelors degree (though thats not required). Youve taken ownership over an events calendar from strategy through to .
You value impact over checklists. While you are a natural project manager with high attention to detail you are comfortable optimizing and iterating on initial plans to achieve maximum impact.
You love networking. Meeting new people at an event is your jam and the conference coffee cart feels like home.
You thrive on designing fantastic inperson and virtual experiences. Youre extremely creative and love brainstorming new and engaging experiences. You always have a new wild idea youd love to try out and are crafty in finding ways to bring it to life.
Youre eager to continue your own learning. Spy and voracious you want to know the why behind every answer. Youre a creative thinker who can combine quantitative thinking with a great aesthetic. Finding creative ways to work through obstacles is fun for you.
Youre resourceful and independent. Youre no stranger to solving problems and a lastminute change in schedule is no sweat for you. Youve got a Plan B (and C) to try out.
You arent open to travel. This role will require onsite attendance at many of our events both in Toronto and across Canada.
