Job Description
UT Tyler School of Medicine is hiring a dedicated Emergency Medicine Physician to join our elite team at UT Health East Texas the regions only Level 1 Trauma Center in Tyler. As part of UT Health Tyler one of 10 facilities within UT Health East Texas youll be at the forefront of emergency care in a facility that also serves as a Level II Primary Stroke Center and the hub for UT Health East Texas EMS and AIR 1.
Position Highlights:
Team Composition: 15 Emergency Medicine Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers.
Facility Details: 36 ED beds including three exam rooms currently staffed at 24 12 holding beds).
EMR: Epic.
Group: SingleSpecialty UT Health East Texas Physicians Medical Group.
Schedule: Flexible 12hour shifts totaling 12 shifts per month.
Qualifications: ABEM board certified/eligible. Both experienced and graduating Emergency Medicine physicians are encouraged to apply.
