You independently operate and maintain at least one process equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.

How you will contribute

You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety quality cost delivery sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

The Role:

Were looking for a handson Building Maintenance Technician to take care of the daytoday maintenance of our chocolate factory. From HVAC and lighting to plumbing doors and general repairs youll help make sure the facility is running safely and efficiently so our teams can focus on making great products.

What Youll Do:

• Perform general building maintenance tasks including repairs to walls floors ceilings doors lighting and fixtures.
• Respond to facilityrelated work orders and support emergency maintenance calls.
• Work with contractors and vendors as needed for repairs and inspections.
• Follow all safety food safety and GMP guidelines to support a clean and compliant factory environment.
• Keep detailed records of work using our CMMS system.
• Communicate clearly with other departments and shifts to ensure smooth operations in a unionized environment.

What You Bring:

• 3 years of experience in facility or building maintenance ideally in a food or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems basic plumbing electrical and general carpentry.
• Handson problemsolving skills and a strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work 12hour rotating continental shifts (days and nights).
• Good communication skills and a proactive safetyfirst mindset.
• Experience using CMMS or maintenance tracking systems is a plus.
