UABOS Spain: Environmental SpecialistBelong Connect Grow with KBR!
Program Summary
KBR will sustain the operational wellbeing of U.S. armed forces at Morn Air Base (Spain) Incirlik Air Base Izmir Air Station and various facilities in Turkey. Our services encompass program management civil engineering morale and recreation support postal operations safety services logistics and more. With a fiveyear base period and three oneyear options KBR ensures these bases operate smoothly allowing deployed personnel to focus on mission .
Job Summary
Monitor and dispose of all WRM hazardous materials/wastes IAW applicable host nation laws Final Governing Standards (FGS) and Morn AB hazardous waste and spill plans. 100 of the time hazardous material storage and handling guidelines are followed. DAFI21101 ensure compliance with hazardous material hazardous waste management. IAW AFI 90821 Hazard Communication (HAZCOM) Program. Follow Safety and Occupational Health Management System/Environment Management System (ESOHMS/EMS) policy/guidance and applicable environmental requirements and guidance. Obtain Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for chemicals received unless the SDS are already available in EESOHMIS and Enterprise Data Repository ensure all hazardous and nonhazardous chemicals are properly labeled and stored. Ensure all hazardous chemicals are properly labeled prior to issue. Provide customer service to department company and government personnel. Strictly adheres to US Air Force Technical Orders and Safety Directives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Hazardous waste storage monitor.
Seal and label drums filled with waste petroleum oils and lubricants. Oil greasy rags soaked spill pads crushed oil and hydraulic fluid cans etc.
Transport hazardous waste sealed drums with appropriate paperwork to base collection point.
Access Enterprise Data Repository for current Safety Data Sheets.
Assure 100 of the time hazardous material storage and handling guidelines are followed.

Basic Qualifications
US Citizen.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess or have the capability to obtain a U.S. SECRET security clearance.
Valid U.S. drivers license.
MS Office computer skills (Windows Excel).
Preferred Qualifications
USAF Sheppard AFB cryogenics course graduate.
