Job Description
This is your opportunity to show off your CArm skills or learn a new skill set as a licensed Radiology Technologist! You will work in our Interventional Physiatry Clinic (nonoperative) at our West Des Moines office. On the job training available for new grads or individuals wanting to expand their skill set. This is a fulltime opportunity (Monday Friday 7:45AM 4:30PM). Qualified candidates are eligible for premium pay and a hiring bonus $1000 paid out after 90 and $1500 paid after 180 days and $2000 paid after 1 year of successful service in the procedural CArm position (extra $500 per bonus added for candidates with one years of CArm experience in fluoroguided procedures).
As a Radiology Tech in the Interventional Physiatry / Spine department at our West Des Moines office youll support our Physicians by operating a CArm in fluoroguided procedures for arthograms and epidural spine injections. You will also assist with EMG/NCV studies. This fulltime position is scheduled Monday Friday 7:45AM4:30PM (or until the last patient leaves). Every day you will work alongside our team of clinical providers to create a comfortable patient experience ensuring everyone is properly cared for and assisting in their journey to healing. To thrive in this role you must have a Permit to Practice in the state of Iowa and care about the wellbeing of every patient you see.
Heres What You Can Expect
- Youll be on your feet most of the day preparing patients for their procedure before operating the CArm to capture highquality images for the Physician during inoffice procedures.
- You will work along side of Physicians in clinic assisting with positioning the CArm for fluoroguided injections and/or EMG/NCV studies. This is a clinic where youll have access to ask questions if you need any clarification.

What Were Looking For
- AART certification in Radiology and permit to practice in the state of Iowa.
- Ability to learn or perform specialized diagnostic skills using provided tools.
- You know how to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous. You know how important it is to listen and ask questions when appropriate.
