How Youll Make an Impact:
As a Staff Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell youll contribute to a communitys wellbeing act as a trusted advisor to patients and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient effective and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.
- Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy consulting services; advise and guide with empathy confidentiality and diligence
- Build effective relationships with local physicians and medical community to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients
- Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement learning and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy teams development
- Stay informed of regulations retail pharmacy best practices and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune Oncology Hepatitis C HIV and more

What Youll Bring
Basic Qualifications:
- Pharm.D. or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy
- Successful completion of state pharmacy board examination
- Pharmacist license current and in good standing
- A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements
- 1 year of experience in the practice of pharmacy
Preferred Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in the practice of pharmacy
- Experience in specialty pharmacy (such as Oncology Dermatology Inflammatory Diseases)
- Experience in communicating and strategize with providers and clinicians in promoting patient programs and care
- Experience in processing prior authorization
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to daily commute to and work the noted pharmacy site and pharmacys operational hours.
- This position is moderately active and requires standing walking and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes
