What will you do
The individual will learn and demonstrate a working understanding of realtime PCR / qPCR workflows in general laboratory practice. General experience in other genetic analysis methods is an asset but not required. Successful applicants will be trained in Professional Selling Skills (PSS) which they will use as a framework to improve sales and strategic selling effectiveness. This person will grow comfortable using telephone selling skills to build customer rapport and develop consultative sales relationships. They will find opportunities to use Thermo Fisher Scientifics products and solutions to help customers overcome problems win orders and grow our business. Sales representatives will be asked to achieve or exceed the territory sales plan by maintaining existing business and conducting cold calls to developing incremental business in existing accounts and prospect for new business. This individual will participate in and apply product and systems training marketing campaigns and special projects to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with Company philosophy policies and procedures. New hires will undergo a twoweek on boarding period followed by a week of selling skills training and will continue to receive further training throughout the year on an ongoing basis.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $36.00$49.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
