You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailMarie Curie is excited to be expanding our existing Hospice Care at Home Service in Cwm Taf Morgannwg to help ensure nobody goes without the vital care and support they need at end of life. We are looking for a number of additional Healthcare Assistants to join our amazing team to help support more patients with life limiting conditions and their families than ever before. We will be working closely with District Nursing and Primary Care Teams to provide symptom control end of life care and respite; as well as developing a new urgent response capacity to support the discharge of palliative and end of life care patients from hospitals into the community. Salary:Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) 23970 per annum Enhancements

With experience of EndofLife care youre ready and able to make a real difference. Working without close supervision youll have the opportunity to use your own initiative in line with the patients established care plan. Youll be required to carry out a range of care duties including helping patients meet their hygiene needs monitoring symptoms assisting with medications and keeping detailed records and emotional support to the patient and their families.
