THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will weld braze and cut ferrous and nonferrous metals to complete projects involving machinery and equipment from fences and highway bridges to engines utility distribution equipment and systems and more! Your responsibilities will include exercising independent judgement in determining work methods and procedures prioritizing work and communicating with your supervisor to collectively decide whether to do the work in house or by contract so that our equipment can be utilized efficiently and productively. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Fulltime employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday Friday with a 30minute lunch. Bid shift for winter season.
- Telework:You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Three years of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment materials and related shop equipment to repair maintain or fabricate parts equipment or structures; or
- Completion of a threeyear high school VoTech training program in welding and eighteen months of experience in the operation and use of welding equipment materials and related shop equipment to repair maintain or fabricate parts equipment or structures; or
- Completion of an approved welder apprentice program; or
- A welding certificate D1.1 from the American Welding Society; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirements:
- This position requires possession of an active Pennsylvania Class C Drivers License.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
