Selling Partner Financial Technology (SPFT) is looking for a dynamic engineer to join our financial experiences team to deliver worldclass financial experiences that delights our Selling Partners.
Selling Partners depend on us to provide accurate and transparent financial information to help them manage and grow their business. We are looking for Engineers with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for delivering creative solutions for complex problems on an unprecedented scale. As part of the team you will be given the chance to have a significant impact on our systems our business and most importantly our customers and build solutions that will achieve our vision of 100 financial accuracy and transparency.
Successful candidates must also be innovative flexible selfdirected and able to design and write highperformance reliable maintainable code. The ability to function at a very high level in a fastpaced environment along with a team of very talented engineers is essential. Key job responsibilities
Collaborate with experienced crossdisciplinary Amazonians to conceive design and bring innovative products and services to market.
Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
Build distributed storage index and query systems that are scalable faulttolerant low cost and easy to manage/use.
Create solutions to run predictions on distributed systems with exposure to innovative technologies at incredible scale and speed.
Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
Translate functional requirements into robust scalable supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture.
Participate in the full development cycle endtoend from design implementation and testing to documentation delivery and maintenance.
Produce comprehensive usable software documentation.
Evaluate and make decisions around the use of new or existing software products and tools.
Work in an agile environment to deliver highquality software.
Mentor junior development engineers.
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
