Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Elementary ESL (English as a Second Language) Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within general education classrooms to support English language learners in developing their language skills. The role involves fostering positive relationships with students colleagues and families to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with general education teachers to provide inclass support for English language learners.
- Develop and implement instructional strategies that cater to the diverse linguistic needs of students.
- Foster positive relationships with students to support their academic and socialemotional growth.
- Communicate regularly with families to keep them informed about their childs progress and to engage them in the learning process.
- Monitor and assess student progress adjusting instructional methods to meet their evolving needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in ESL education.
Qualifications:
State certification
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working with English Language Learners is preferred.
