Location:Vandalia OH (onsite)

As our next Buyer youll be at the forefront of creating tracking communicating and providing all pertinent information to suppliers and the internal team. Your expertise in managing indirect purchases building relationships with suppliers and mitigating risks and costs will be crucial in driving our success and pushing the boundaries of whats possible.

What Youll Be Doing:
- Responsible for indirect purchases to support the facility.
- Full P2P (ProcuretoPay) responsibility for assigned areas.
- Build relationships with new and existing suppliers.
- Implement risk and cost mitigation improvements.
- Develop and implement projects with support from team members.
What Were Looking For:
- 3 years of purchasing experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- ERP/MRP experience (Oracle preferred).
- Experience with vending and/or VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory).
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to analyze and negotiate the total cost of ownership.
- Ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to work well in a fastpaced and highdemanding environment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- General knowledge of manufacturing processes and services.
- Bachelors degree in Administration Supply Chain or Engineering.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Purchasing and/or lean manufacturing certifications.
- Experience with quality and environmental regulations such as ISOand FDA.
- Project management techniques.
- Experience with low volume high complexity automation and MRO (Maintenance Repair and Operations).
- Knowledge of sustainable supply chain techniques.
