LEX PRODUCTS The purpose of this role is to ensure the transaction accuracy of incoming POs and outgoing shipments are processed in the M2M (ERP) system. The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will oversee and support the team for all incoming deliveries inventory and noninventory and outbound shipments. Work with Quality team as needed for inbound and outbound items. Work cross functionally to support all teams connected to shipping and receiving. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily including but not limited to the following: Receiving - Working supervisor and mentor for the receiving team
- Receive incoming shipments in M2M by PO number
- Verify/inspect how the shipment arrived or condition of the packaging if damaged or out of the ordinary
- Completes receipts in a timely manner same day as received
- Pick and package products according to customer requirements
- Unload shipments as needed with the forklift or pallet jack
- Communicate/assist warehouse team once inventory can be placed in stock
Shipping - Working supervisor and mentor for the shipping team
- Perform QC inspection on all outbound shipments to ensure correct part numbers and quantities are shipping to Lex customers.
- Place identifying information on outbound shipments which include address label packing slip commercial invoice or other documents.
- Completes documentation timely and accurately
- Ensures that all available shipments are shipped to Lex customers ontime each day
- Communicate with managers peers and subordinates on a routine basis regarding the flow of materials throughout Lex.
- Trace lost shipments and/or customer claims of lost shipments.
- Initiate proof of delivery documents.
- Maintain department database prepare routine reports and file shipment records.
- Operate pallet jack and/or forklift in loading shipments.
- Promote and follow established departmental policies procedures and objectives continuous quality improvement objectives and safety environmental and/or infection control standards.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment (may require sweeping mopping trash removal etc.
- Promptly report to manager all observations that are relevant to ensure a safe and efficient operation in the department.
- Receipts are to be complete same day received on the dock.
- Finished goods are shipped on time and in a manner that meets or exceeds the fill rate.
- Willing to work overtime when necessary.
- Performs other duties as directed by manager.
- Weekly Dashboard of shipment transactions vs the goal
- Perform RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action); on receiving/shipping issues (Paperwork wrong address packaging instructions not followed) to prevent future errors.
- Track freight spending and report out weekly on actual vs plan
- Track number of receipts weekly and average time to process
Education Experience and Skills - U.S. Citizen is required; this position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
- 5 years of experience required Warehouse Inventory Management or Supply Chain
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 & AS9100 is required
- ERP/MRP experience (i.e. Made2Manage Epicore SAP Oracle)
- Experience in MRP systems functionality transactions reporting and research
- Lot Control experience preferred

- Lot Control experience
- Experienced Supply Chain supplier relationships project management contracts and cost reductions
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Good attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Process oriented high level sense of urgency
- Good business sense
- Ability to be adaptable & flexible to changing workplace priorities
- Research in the ERP system for manual adjustments.
- Work quickly and move onto the next task
- Maintain a good attendance record and work overtime as needed
- Forklift certification and operation experience is a plus.
