What youll be doing
Reporting directly to the Senior Investment Manager youll:
Comanage DLGs internal Sterling corporate credit and governmentrelated credit portfolios ensuring investment objectives and financial targets are met within risk guidelines.
Collaborate with the Front Office team on investment strategy sharing market insights and providing backup for cash and bond dealing.
Support firstline investment risk management by contributing to risk forums reviewing controls and monitoring market risk data.
Assist in stress testing and scenario analysis for investment portfolio strategy adjustments.
Conduct ongoing credit analysis for liquid and illiquid assets monitoring market trends and reporting on credit issuers.
Maintain investment documentation ensuring policies controls and compliance reporting are accurate and up to date.
Act as DLGs subject matter expert on responsible investing identifying global best practices and driving ESGaligned initiatives.
Prepare and present monthly portfolio reports and participate in quarterly performance reviews of external fund managers.
Stay informed on financial and credit market developments assessing potential impacts on DLGs investment portfolio.
Evaluate new investment proposals from third parties and recommend next steps.
What were looking for
Experience in an investment manager or assistant investment manager role with handson exposure to portfolio management.
Understanding of fixed income markets investment strategies and risk management principles.
Ability to instil confidence in senior leaders (CFO CRO Investment Committee) and build relationships with external asset managers.
Uptodate understanding of ESG strategies and responsible investment initiatives.
Data analysis interpretation and spreadsheet skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to articulate complex investment strategies and insights to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
A proactive mindset with the confidence to lead investment decisions.
