You will spearhead the development and implementation of quality strategies leverage datadriven analytics to enhance outcomes and ensure compliance with modern standards including digital accessibility as you work on Teaching & Learning Innovation (TLI). Salary: $87422 to $106850 (commensurate to selected hires experience

Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ten years of related professional experience including:
Three years of related experience in leadership roles such as project management instructional design training and development program oversight or educational innovation.
Three years of related experience in hiring supervising and evaluating fulltime staff.
Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in Instructional Design Educational Technology or a related field.
Experience working in higher education online learning environments or other complex academic settings.
Demonstrated success leading highperformance creative or technical teams in instructional design media production or educational innovation.
Proven ability to apply quality assurance methodologies to course development and delivery processes including instructional design and media workflows.
Certification in recognized quality frameworks such as Quality Matters OSCQR or digital accessibility standards such as WCAG.
Practical experience implementing and maintaining compliance with WCAG accessibility standards across digital learning content.
Documented success managing the full course development lifecycle including instructional design media production and online delivery.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Proven leadership critical thinking and decisionmaking abilities with a track record of driving continuous improvement.
Proficiency in project management and quality assurance tools used to plan monitor and evaluate complex initiatives.
Deep knowledge of instructional design principles digital media production workflows and learning management systems.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting data identifying trends and making evidencebased decisions.
Ability to design implement and sustain quality assurance strategies across instructional media and delivery functions.
Responsibilities
Learning Quality Oversight and Continuous Improvement
Oversee the quality review process for all materials developed by teams across TLI ensuring alignment with institutional quality benchmarks and learning objectives.
Conduct comprehensive quality reviews throughout the course lifecycle and provide actionable feedback to strengthen instructional and media deliverables.
Review and approve course materials and media assets to address alignment gaps and support compliance.
Establish performancebased quality metrics informed by best practices in instructional design media production and course delivery.
Develop and maintain guides templates and tools that support quality assurance practices across instructional design media and delivery functions.
Quality Strategy and Innovation Leadership
Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive crossfunctional quality assurance strategy encompassing design media and delivery.
Partner with directors to develop and apply shared quality assurance rubrics and evaluation tools that reflect strategic priorities.
Promote a culture of sustained excellence and reflective practice throughout the TLI team.
Collaborate with TLI leadership to define unitwide quality standards aligned with Texas A&M University System policies institutional goals and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Serve on the TLI leadership team contributing to strategic planning crossfunctional initiatives and innovation pilots.
Lead special projects and respond to evolving strategic priorities as assigned by the Executive Director of Teaching & Learning Innovation.
DataDriven Quality Analytics and Insights
Lead the data strategy committee and guide the evolution of data collection systems to inform continuous refinement of TLI practices.
Design and implement a datadriven framework for assessing instructional and media quality across the learner experience.
Generate and present reports on key performance indicators trend analysis and strategic opportunities to TLI leadership and stakeholders.
Collaborate with team members across TLI to interpret data optimize processes and elevate programlevel quality.
Integrate feedback and analytics into iterative improvements across design production and delivery functions.
Compliance and Digital Accessibility Leadership
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to distance education and online content delivery including Texas A&M University System policies and accessibility standards.
Direct the development and implementation of accessibility guidelines aligned with WCAG 2.1 and university expectations.
Conduct internal accessibility audits and lead remediation efforts in collaboration with instructional and media teams.
Monitor and report on accessibility and compliance metrics across all digital learning assets.
Stay informed on evolving legislation and institutional policies and integrate updates into TLI processes and documentation.
Leadership Development and Stakeholder Engagement
Supervise and mentor a team of quality assurance specialists supporting their role development goal setting and ongoing professional growth.
Recruit hire onboard and retain highperforming team members; establish clear expectations and evaluate performance.
Provide training and support to internal teams on quality assurance frameworks accessibility protocols and compliance practices.
Represent the Learning Quality function in working groups committees and leadership forums within Mays and across the university.
Build collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders faculty partners and external vendors to support crossunit alignment.
Communicate quality priorities results and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders across TLI and Mays Business School.
