Reporting to the VP Corporate Controller the Assistant Controller will lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements audit coordination efforts and support financial reporting for executive leadership and external stakeholders. This role will partner and provide strategic support to the CFO Operational Controllers and Finance/Accounting teams.
Our preference is for this role to be based in Irvine CA or Little Rock AR but we are open to remote applicants for this position.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
Oversee the monthly quarterly and yearend close processes including preparation and review of journal entries account reconciliations and financial reports.
Oversee the maintenance of general ledger accounts and support the integration of acquisitions.
Lead the preparation and review of financial analysis assist and support Divisional leadership in resolving discrepancies during the close process.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial closes in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
Develop implement and maintain global accounting policies and processes ensuring consistency scalability compliance with evolving regulatory requirements and adherence across all subsidiaries.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and enhance accounting processes systems and controls.
Lead mentor and develop accounting team by providing mentorship performance feedback and conducting regular career development discussions that foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Partner with the VP Internal Audit to support internal and external audits ensuring compliance with all SOX and internal controls.
Assist in the preparation and review of SEC filings including 10Q 10K and 8K reports.
Partner with FP&A Tax Treasury and Legal teams on financial reporting and compliance matters.
Participate in strategic projects including system implementations and enhancements M&A due diligence and integration as well as value creation and process improvement initiatives.
Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
Interface with internal and external auditors and vendors to respond to questions.
YOUR EXPERTISE AND SKILLS

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance from an accredited university
Holds an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
10 years of progressive experience in accounting with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate experience including multinational and publicly traded organization(s).
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP internal controls (SOX) and revenue recognition principles.
Proven leadership and team management abilities with experience in leading developing and building successorship talent to achieve organizational goals. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems with Workday Financials (ERP) preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate across teams clients and stakeholders.
Adaptable resilient and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced evolving environment.
Solutionoriented mindset with the ability to identify issues investigate and recommend resolutions.
Highly organized with exceptional time management and prioritization skills; able to manage multiple initiatives while aligning with stakeholder expectations.
Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally 510 as needed.
Must be dynamic and enthusiastic with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to deliver excellence.
