Job Description

The Clinton Public School District is currently seeking a Speech and Language Pathologist. The Speech and Language Pathologist reports to the Special Education Director and Building Overview:The Clinton Public Schools a Prek12 district is seeking skilled Speech and Language Pathologist. Using the 3:1 model the SLP provides services in classrooms individually and in small groups as a communication specialist by way of :1 Adding to our curriculum learning that reflects the therapeutic language requirement of our students on IEPs and 504s(2 Consulting with staff to implement the curriculum and(3 Teaching these skills in a classroom small group or individual SLP administers speech and language assessments to students and prepares corresponding reports prepares updates on reports for presentation at district team meetings attends team meetings writes IEPs and 504 accommodations and corresponding progress reports. The SLP position requires a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and valid/current licensure with the MA Division of Professional Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist and MA DESE licensure in Speech Language Hearing Disorders Experience with AAC device implementation and training is preferred.
