We are seeking a GM to lead of team to help grow and evolve the Alexa Smart Home business. In this role you will manage the Smart Home P&L which is inclusive of devices and programs this requires strong business acumen and high judgement. You will lead the team in delivering short and longterm results through thoughtful strategy and excellent . You will report on business health to senior leaders in Devices & Services through weekly and monthly mechanisms. You will also be instrumental in building and helping us figure out the 3 year and 5 year roadmap for smart home devices working closely with product teams and engineers. The ideal candidate excels at customer obsession ownership invent & simplify and dive deep.
Key job responsibilities Build threeyear worldwide business plan 3YP) as well as annual business strategy and goals (OP1 OP2 Work closely with our technical teams to help develop our long term product roadmap and strategy including writing PRFAQs for new products. Guide the team in accurately forecasting the business based on customer insights sales trends external landscape insights and internal business plans; update business plans as part of the quarterly guidance cycle Lead worldwide crossfunctional team in delivering short and longterm results; crossfunctional team includes demand planning finance offline retail management marketing merchandising and product Develop annual promotional strategy including the approach to HighVelocity Events (HVEs) such Prime Day Prime Best Deal Days and Black Friday/Cyber Monday; deliver flawless of HVEs Identify ways to optimize traffic and conversion through improved marketing and merchandising; build new playbooks to maximize sales growth and efficiency Build a strategize to integrate Alexa into our 1P product roadmap to help customers learn and utilize the new capabilities. Prioritize work effectively in a fastchanging environment with lean resourcing Develop team through regular coaching monthly career/growth discussions and quarterly Talent Reviews
12 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience 6 years of team management experience Bachelors degree Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience with end to end product delivery Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
