Job Description
Our client a wellestablished Telecommunications company based in Durban is looking to fill the position of Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full accounting functions.
- Cashbook processing.
- Journal adjustments.
- Loading online banking payments.
- Vat Returns and reconciliations.
- Review of creditors clerks work.
- Assist in Invoicing and credit notes.
- Cashflow.
- Assistance in Compiling monthly management packs.
- Preparation of general accounting reports as and when required.
- Maintenance of fixed asset register.
- Processing journals for instalment sales.
- Finance administration duties.
- Ad hoc accounting tasks to assist the Senior financial accountant.
- Intercompany calculations and invoicing.
- Intercompany balance checks.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- BCom General / Accounting Degree
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Experience on Xero and Pastel would be beneficial
