Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships with commercial clients ensuring their insurance needs are met and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a portfolio of commercial accounts and serve as the main point of contact for clients
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide appropriate recommendations
  • Review policies and coverage to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations
  • Renew policies and process necessary endorsements with attention to detail and timeliness
  • Address client inquiries and concerns in a professional and efficient manner
  • Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or crosssell additional products or services
  • Work closely with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and pricing for clients
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance products and regulations
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and presentations for client meetings
  • Maintain accurate and organized client files and records in the agency management system

Qualifications/Requirements

  • At least 3 years of account management experience required
  • A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required
  • Previous independent agency experience is required
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products and coverage options
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance standards
