We are seeking a passionate and experienced Biology Teacher to join our esteemed faith school in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Biology Teacher who is eager to inspire students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 in an environment that values academic excellence faithbased education and holistic development.

As an experienced Biology Teacher you will play a key role in shaping the next generation of scientific thinkers while contributing to the schools strong Christian ethos. The ideal candidate will have a deep passion for Biology excellent teaching experience and a commitment to supporting the spiritual and academic growth of students.

The Role Biology Teacher

As an experienced Biology Teacher you will be responsible for teaching Biology across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 with a focus on ALevel preparation. You will deliver engaging and challenging lessons fostering a love for science while maintaining high academic standards. You will also work collaboratively with a dedicated team of Biology Teachers to continuously improve teaching practices and support the development of the curriculum.

In addition to your teaching responsibilities you will be expected to contribute to the wider school community by engaging in extracurricular activities and helping to build a positive inclusive school culture rooted in Christian values.

The Ideal Candidate Experienced Biology Teacher

We are looking for an experienced Biology Teacher who:
Holds QTS and a relevant degree in Biology or a related subject
Has proven experience teaching Biology at KS3 KS4 and KS5 (including ALevel)
Has a passion for inspiring students and fostering a love for Biology
Demonstrates a strong commitment to academic excellence and student development
Can effectively work within a team of Biology Teachers and contribute to curriculum development
Has excellent classroom management skills and a proactive approach to student engagement
Is enthusiastic about contributing to the faithbased ethos of the school and engaging in the wider school community
