A thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher is required for a fulltime position in a school in Enfield commencing in September (though an earlier start ASAP may be considered). The successful candidate will guide students across Key Stages 3 to 5 exploring diverse religious and ethical perspectives.
Responsibilities
- Plan prepare and deliver engaging Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Prepare students effectively for GCSE and ALevel Religious Studies examinations.
- Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful dialogue and critical analysis of religious and ethical issues.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Religious Education providing insightful feedback to support their understanding.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
- A strong academic background in religious studies and a passion for exploring different belief systems and ethical frameworks.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills capable of leading sensitive and engaging discussions with students.
