Job Description
Our ambitious school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and skilled Music Teacher to join our successful and growing Music department within a thriving Arts faculty. We are keen to hear from Music Teachers who are not only excellent practitioners but also passionate about inspiring a love for Music in young people. Location: Hounslow
Role: Music Teacher (FullTime Permanent)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Music lessons across Key Stages 34 (and potentially KS5.
- Inspire students to develop a deep understanding and appreciation for a wide range of musical genres and styles.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Arts department to share best practice and enhance the Music curriculum.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Music.
- Potentially direct musical ensembles manage instrumental tuition or develop links with external musical organizations.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Degree in Music or a related field.
- Proven experience teaching Music at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply).
- Strong musical skills including performance experience and theoretical knowledge.
- Excellent communication organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and lead musical activities.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the Music department and school music.
