Job Description
Are you a passionate and knowledgeable Business Studies Teacher ready to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs and innovators A forwardthinking secondary school in Nottingham is looking to appoint a talented teacher of Businessfor a fulltime permanent position starting this September. There is potential for a TLR for candidates with leadership ambitions and experience.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and challenging Business lessons to KS4 and KS5 students
- Contribute to the development of an ambitious and expanding Business Studies curriculum
- Inspire students to develop critical thinking financial literacy and commercial awareness
- Participate in department planning extracurricular enterprise initiatives and sixth form support
- Take on leadership responsibilities within the department (for suitable candidates)

What Were Looking For
- A degree in Business Economics or a related subject
- UK QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Business at KS4 and KS5
- A teacher with high expectations excellent subject knowledge and a forwardthinking approach
- Leadership experience or potential especially in curriculum planning is highly desirable
- ECTs with strong placement experience will also be considered
